Chimei HDTV available for Taiwan and Europe
Chimei, a Taiwanese manufacturer has come out with DTL-742E500, 42″ Full HDTV LCD. Available for its local market and Europe, the TV has 500cd/m2 brightness and 1200:1 ratio for contrast. Worth noticing price tag says it is can be availed under $1,600.
