DMX-HD2, successor of the Xacti packs in a 7.38 Megapixel sensor, supports 8GB SDHC cards and has platinum engine II for better image quality and ISO 1600 support. The base station of the HD2 packs in HDMI output (feature absent with HD1). The super quality in HD mode records in 1,280×720-dot resolution at 720p with a bit rate if 9Mbps, a 4GB card can hold 58 minutes of recording.
