Overshadowing alarm clock makers, techy home-décor accessories, the cellphone industry has set its eyeballs on the navigation device makers.

As per the analysts, the annual market for phone navigation is worth Euros 100 million, one can surely say that this would be a worthy value addition.

By selling N95, a month ago, Nokia has made the beginning. The boom it has reflected is surely to make 2007, a year of navigation. The GPS technology enables handset makers to bypass mobile phone network operators; thereby some of the navigation phones are to be used for routing if connection to operators’ networks doesn’t work. Â
