Desktop personal robot

Japan’s computer giant NEC employees have come out with its new desktop personal robot, Papero mini. The gadget is almost half the size of current model, Papero 2005 (right, silver), weighing 2.5kg and is 25cm tall.
This move by the company is to develop the card-sized main control module to recognise human voice, as well as human faces. The robot is also equipped with a graphic interface on its LCD display.
