LG has a screen that takes energy from the sun

LG introduced in Korea a 14.1 inch LCD screen for notebooks which was created especially for use abroad. The company managed to create a screen that is in the best conditions when the sun is giving directly. The best part is that it can be changed to Transmissive Reflective. This will allow him when the sun is directly giving look better and not only that, they also save energy by 75% and, hence, its battery will last longer.
The company will present the new display at the CES 2009 and, if everything works as they say, especially energy savings when the sun is giving directly to the screen, we can see a real revolution in which screens of laptops are concerned.
