A funny RIM patent for a keyboard that unfolds

It is very likely one of these suspicious patents, but RIM has filed an application on a smartphone with the keyboard unfolds, we wonder how it could serve. Historically, Blackberry were recognized for their excellent keyboards, ideal for email, but recent model with SureType (two letters per key) have let down many user.

So the sight of this patent will perhaps some leap for joy, thinking oooh, a keyboard that unfold! SureType to death! The full Qwerty reign soon on the Blackberry Pearl! Until they realize that the design of RIM adds no key, because the keyboard always two letters per key. It’s just that SureType has grown.
