Pre Palm: Everything you wanted to know

During the 2009 CES, held in Las Vegas the first week of January, Palm announced their next phone. The new phone, called the Pre, stole the show and now we are impatiently waiting for more news about the product. Before the announcement was thought that this would be the last chance that Palm had to save from death, a few days later said that not only managed to avoid bankruptcy, but it will again become one of the leaders of the mobile platforms.

The phone is not yet available, and we have many questions about its operation. This article aims to dispel some doubts, and help you discover if the Pre you need is your phone. According to Palm announced their next phone will have the following characteristics:

1. Capacitive touch screen 3.1 inches with a resolution of 480×320 pixels.
2. Slider QWERTY keyboard. – Form of “banana” which follows the curvature of your face.
3. At the bottom of the screen has a “gestures area” and a button to open applications such as “cards” (cards).
4. Volume control buttons on the left side of the phone.
5. 3.5 mm connector (for headphones) at the top.

The phone has impressed us, and many are seriously considering leaving behind our current phone to switch to the Pre, although expect to publish the analysis and decide on complaints from those who use it just comes out for sale.
