Do we know from recent history that the MID does not have much future? Well nothing, it seems that LG and Intel have not seen this way and announce a partnership to launch in a future MID. Specifically LG will use the platform “Moorestown” for next year, the successors of the Intel Atom processor, to a terminal that will be between NETBOOK and more high-end mobile.

Actually a MID as we know it today may well be a computer screen with a 7 to 9 inches and a keyboard or tucked in the side, a failure in any rule, both by their size and difficult to use and very high prices.

Anyway LG will highlight capabilities for use as a phone, so that 3G connection is secured and the use of Linux as an operating system.
