Acer Asus dethroned and sells more netbooks

While we feel weird, is the most common, nobody can stay on top forever and that was exactly what happened to Asus, as the Acer Aspire One more were sold in the last quarter of the year. This morning we gave the results and was informed that the NETBOOK of Acer took a 38.3% market share while Asus was 30%. Quite a considerable difference if we think that last year Asus was virtually alone in this business.

In the coming year2009 company has planned to take 50% of netbook market. I think it is very challenging issue for other companies. The netbook market is one of the few really strong electronics market left in these credit crunched times. Having just announced its Q3 financial results, the PC manufacturer is feeling pretty much superior after announcing an after-tax profit of over £100m.
