Fujitsu’s Secure USB Memory machine with Auto-Erase purpose

Today Fujitsu Laboratories announce a couple of new technology that should help prevent data stored on a USB flash drive from end pc gadgets in the wrong hands. The first is the protected USB memory device prototypes pictured above that may have been inspired by a piece of hard derive cheese. It works like your standard USB flash drive Fujitsu computer key drive but it’s got a processor and battery on-board that can be used to mechanically erase the data after a specified amount of time, or if the flash drive is plug into an unregistered computer.
